Flights are delayed and cancelled as cyber hackers hit European airports

A cyber attack on Collins Aerospace has caused flight delays and cancellations at several European airports, including Heathrow, Brussels, and Berlin. The company provides essential check-in and boarding systems for airlines. Passengers are advised to check their flight statuses before heading to the airport.

A Heathrow spokesperson said the company is “experiencing a technical issue that may cause delays for departing passengers.” Meanwhile, Brussels Airport reported that "only manual check-in and boarding is possible" due to the attack. Frankfurt and Hamburg airports are reportedly unaffected.
