US sending 10 stealth fighter jets to Puerto Rico for anti-cartel operations

The U.S. is deploying 10 F-35 fighter jets to the Caribbean to target drug cartels. This decision follows rising tensions with Venezuela related to the drug trade. Recently, the U.S. struck a boat believed to be carrying drug traffickers. In late August, three guided-missile destroyers were sent to the waters off Venezuela to combat cartel threats.
