Netanyahu wants to meet Trump at White House after Iran war ceasefire

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to visit President Trump at the White House soon to celebrate the U.S-Israeli bombing of Iran's nuclear program.

Both leaders view the 12-day conflict with Iran as a significant success for their nations and legacies. President Trump is reportedly open to the visit, which may occur in the second week of July.

Netanyahu stated, "We fought bravely against Iran — and achieved a great victory," emphasizing the importance of not wasting the opportunity for further peace agreements.

While this is happening, Netanyahu's lawyers requested a delay in his corruption trial to focus on foreign policy issues.

Trump has also expressed support for Netanyahu, urging for a cancellation of his trial. The administration is looking to expand the Abraham Accords and establish peace agreements in the region.
