Facing contempt threat, Clintons fefuse to testify in Epstein inquiry

House Oversight Committee Chairman Mr. Comer is pressuring the Clintons to testify in the Epstein inquiry.

Comer has warned that he may hold the Clintons in contempt for not appearing for depositions. He set deadlines for both Bill and Hillary Clinton to respond.

However, the Clintons indicated they would not comply, submitting a legal letter claiming the subpoenas were “invalid and legally unenforceable.” They also issued a joint statement promising to challenge Comer’s demands.
