All six crew members killed in US refuelling plane crash in Iraq

All six crew members of a US KC-135 refuelling plane died in a crash in western Iraq on March 12. The US Central Command reported that rescue efforts are ongoing for two other crew members. The crash was not due to hostile or friendly fire.

A group claiming responsibility for the crash has previously made false claims about similar incidents. Investigations into the circumstances are underway.
