Mehdi Fazaeli, the official, did not provide a direct answer but acknowledged the widespread worry. He stated, "We should all be praying," emphasizing that those tasked with protecting Khamenei were fulfilling their duties.

Khamenei has not made any public appearances or statements in nearly a week amid escalating tensions due to bombing campaigns by Israel and the US.
