More UK troops on way to Middle East to support Iran War

The UK is sending additional troops to the Middle East to enhance air defense against Iranian attacks, according to Defence Secretary John Healey.

He detailed that the Sky Sabre missile system will be deployed in Saudi Arabia, while UK Typhoon jets will extend their mission in Qatar.

Bahrain and Kuwait will also receive enhanced air defense teams and systems.

These countries, along with Cyprus and Jordan, have benefited from RAF missions during ongoing conflicts.

Healey affirmed that "Britain's best" will support its Gulf allies.

The Sky Sabre and a Royal Artillery battery will integrate into Saudi defenses this week. Rapid Sentry is now in Kuwait to assist with early detection of Iranian drones.
