Refugee returns to Syria because of Pride flag in Denmark

SUMMARY

Salma Naddaf, a popular influencer with over 10 million followers, has left Denmark and returned to Syria. The 36-year-old, who fled her homeland due to civil war, made this decision after seeing Pride flags at her children’s schools. In an emotional farewell video, she expressed, "I absolutely couldn't bear for my children to grow up in this environment," feeling Europe no longer reflected her family's values.

Naddaf gained fame through DIY videos after moving to Denmark in 2014. Despite her gratitude for her time in Europe and learning tolerance, she believes returning to Syria is best for her children's future.
