83% of all buildings in Gaza City destroyed by Israeli forces

SUMMARY

Eighty-three percent of buildings in Gaza City, including about 81,000 housing units, have been damaged by Israeli strikes and military forces, according to a UN Satellite Center analysis.

UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric reported this during a briefing. Israel began its offensive in Gaza City last month, continuing operations since the war's start.

Recently, Israel agreed to pause some operations as the U.S. works on a plan to end the conflict, but "defensive actions" continue, resulting in daily Palestinian casualties.

Additionally, Palestinians in Nablus, Salfit, and Qalqiliya reported being unable to harvest olives due to attacks by Israeli settlers, who are uprooting trees.
