Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom condemned it as "disgusting behavior by the President," urging Republicans to denounce the video.

The image, watermarked @XERIAS_X, is linked to a Trump-supporting account with 46,000 followers.

Republicans against Trump stated, "Trump just posted a video on Truth Social that includes a racist image of Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys."

This incident adds to ongoing criticisms Trump has made against Obama, including past accusations of treason.
