Trump admin orders federal agencies to scrub all worker COVID vaccination records

The Trump administration has directed federal agencies to erase all records of workers' COVID-19 vaccination statuses and compliance with pandemic mandates. Scott Kupor, head of the Office of Personnel Management, announced this in a memo, giving agencies until September 8 to confirm compliance.

Kupor emphasized that “things got out of hand during the pandemic” with workers facing penalties for vaccine choices. The rescinding of these records aims to reverse policies from the previous administration. Agencies must expunge related information unless employees opt out within 90 days. The White House has not commented on the directive.
