High court allows UK to keep exporting F-35 jet parts to Israel

Britain’s High Court ruled that allowing the export of Lockheed Martin F-35 parts to Israel is lawful, despite recognition that these parts could breach international humanitarian law. The court stated, "that acutely sensitive and political issue is a matter for the executive," not the courts.

Palestinian rights organization Al-Haq challenged this decision, arguing that it risks facilitating crimes against humanity. The UK government claims stopping these exports could disrupt the entire F-35 program and impact allies, while Al-Haq contends such exports breach international law.

Since the war began in October 2023, over 56,500 people have been killed in Israeli attacks.
