Boeing awarded $8.6 billion contract by Pentagon for F-15 jets for Israel

SUMMARY

Boeing has secured an $8.6 billion contract for the F-15 Israel Program, as announced by the Pentagon following a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The contract covers the design and production of 25 F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, with an option for 25 additional planes.

This deal reflects the U.S. commitment as Israel's primary arms supplier.

Despite protests across the U.S. urging an end to military support for Israel amid its actions in Gaza, the current administration has not altered its stance.

Work will take place in St. Louis and is expected to conclude by December 31, 2035.
