Mass school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, Canada

SUMMARY

A mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. has left 10 people dead, including nine victims and one suspect.

Six victims were found at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, one died en route to the hospital, and two others were discovered at a connected residence.

The shooter died inside the school from a "self-inflicted injury."

Two individuals were airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries, while around 25 others were assessed for non-life-threatening injuries.

All remaining students and staff, approximately 100 people, were safely evacuated.
