Gallup survey finds 60% of Democrats in the US are anti-Israel

A recent Gallup poll reveals over half of Democrats have an unfavorable view of Israel. Only 33% of Democrats view Israel positively, while 60% express negativity.

This marks the first time a majority of any major U.S. political party has shown disfavor since Gallup began asking the question in 1989. In contrast, 83% of Republicans support Israel.

Overall, 54% of Americans feel positively about Israel, the lowest since 2000. The poll highlights a significant partisan divide due to increased anti-Israel sentiment amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
