At least 13 people killed as fire engulfs high-rise buildings in Hong Kong

A devastating fire at the Wang Fuk Court housing complex in Hong Kong has claimed at least 13 lives. Nine victims died at the scene, while four others succumbed to injuries at a hospital. Approximately 700 residents have been evacuated. The fire, believed to have spread via bamboo scaffolding, broke out during renovation work. Three individuals are in critical condition and several firefighters were injured while battling the blaze. Emergency services continue to search for other trapped individuals.
