US seizes oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela

U.S. forces seized a large oil tanker, the Skipper, off the coast of Venezuela, according to President Trump. He stated it was "the largest one ever seized" but didn't disclose the owner's identity or destination.

The Skipper, a Guyana-flagged Very Large Crude Carrier, was loaded with 1.1 million barrels of oil in mid-November and was reportedly headed for Cuba.

The seizure was executed by the FBI, Homeland Security, and the Coast Guard with Pentagon support. Attorney General Pam Bondi shared drone footage of the operation.
