China conducts naval, air patrols around disputed South China Sea

China conducted naval and air patrols in the South China Sea from Monday to Friday, as stated by the Southern Theater Command. They accused the Philippines of attracting outside nations for "bilateral air patrol," which they claim disrupts regional peace. The command emphasized that its forces will stay on high alert to protect China’s territorial sovereignty and maritime rights.

The Philippine embassy in Beijing has not yet commented on the situation.
