Researchers say they have serious questions about UFOs, aliens

The group convened for an international conference to discuss methodologies and frameworks for this new discipline.

They focus on understanding phenomena that have been historically overlooked, recognizing the challenges of making UAP research formal. The society remains neutral on whether UAPs indicate extraterrestrial life, stating, "we're not necessarily taking a position." Their goal is to garner serious scholarly attention to the topic and achieve a deeper understanding of these anomalies.
