Jeremy Corbyn claims nearly 200,000 people have signed up to 'Your Party'

Jeremy Corbyn announced that nearly 200,000 people signed up for his new political party within 24 hours of its launch. He and Coventry South MP Zarah Sultana created the party after she left Labour. The website for the party, yourparty.uk, carries the message, "this is your party." However, Sultana created confusion by stating that a name hasn't been finalized. Government ministers criticized the launch, calling it "chaotic."

Corbyn claimed the response has been "enormous," stating, "175,000 people had signed up for it, which is enormous." Ministers have mocked his leadership approach, suggesting he lacks seriousness in politics.
