ICEblock climbs to the top of the IOS App store charts after officials slam it

ICEBlock, an app that allows users to report sightings of ICE agents, has soared to the top of the App Store charts in the U.S., becoming the number one free social networking app and the third most downloaded free app overall.

The app saw a surge in downloads after government officials condemned it.Developed by Joshua Aaron, ICEBlock notifies users in a five-mile radius of ICE sightings and allows them to add details about the agents spotted. White House officials criticized the app, implying it incites violence against ICE officers.

Attorney General Pam Bondi stated, "He's giving a message to criminals where our federal officers are." Despite the backlash, Aaron claims the app does not collect personal data.
