Israel hits Iran's Arak nuclear reactor site

The Israeli Air Force targeted Iran's Arak heavy water reactor and numerous military sites overnight, according to the IDF.

Forty fighter jets dropped 100 munitions on various Iranian military facilities in Tehran and beyond. The Arak reactor, crucial for plutonium production, was specifically hit.

Additionally, a facility in Natanz associated with nuclear weapons development was struck.

The IDF noted that this site contains unique components for advancing Iran's nuclear weapons program.

Other strikes included facilities for missile components and manufacturing, Iranian air defense sites, and missile storage locations.
