Trump weighs new Ukraine aid package

SUMMARY

President Trump is considering a new military aid package for Ukraine worth hundreds of millions. This follows a recent halt of existing aid, which included artillery rounds and precision ammunition. The funds would come from a $3.8 billion fund Congress approved for Ukraine support. Trump hinted at a “major statement” about Russia soon. Recent Russian attacks left Trump displeased, stating, "You'll be seeing things happening," to reporters this morning.

NATO is also looking to purchase U.S. weapons for Ukraine. The Pentagon paused some shipments due to concerns over U.S. stockpiles, despite some officials disputing these worries. The halted package included critical air defense missiles and munitions.
