Davos warning from BlackRock's and WEF's Fink: Capitalism must evolve

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink will open the World Economic Forum by addressing a crisis of legitimacy in Davos and the global economic system; capitalism. He plans to highlight that the prosperity celebrated by attendees has excluded many.

Fink will question if "anyone outside this room care?" and emphasize that true prosperity must be accessible to everyone. He believes the AI revolution poses a significant challenge, warning that it may repeat past inequalities similar to globalization: "If AI does to white-collar work what globalization did to blue-collar, we need to confront that directly."

Fink is urging the forum to engage with voices from places like Detroit and Dublin, stating, "The mountain will come down to earth."
