Yemeni forces seize 'massive' Iranian weapons shipment bound for Houthis

Yemeni forces have seized over 750 tons of Iranian weapons intended for the Houthis, according to US Central Command (CENTCOM). This represents the largest capture of such weapons in Yemen's history.

The shipment included advanced cruise, anti-ship, and anti-aircraft missiles, along with drone engines and radar systems.

General Michael Erik Kurilla praised the NRF for this significant interception. He stated, "The interdiction of this massive Iranian shipment shows that Iran remains the most destabilizing actor in the region."

This action is seen as vital for maintaining regional security and limiting Iranian support to the Houthis.
