Ukrainian YouTuber, 2 others arrested over Fukushima livestream

SUMMARY

A Ukrainian YouTuber with 6.5 million subscribers was arrested in Japan for livestreaming himself trespassing in a house in the Fukushima exclusion zone. Two other Ukrainians were also detained after entering an unoccupied house in Okuma Town. Police arrested them during the act after receiving a tip-off. All three admitted to the charges. They were filmed making tea and exploring items left behind.

Fukushima still has dangerous areas despite many being deemed safe post-disaster. Former Ukrainian ambassador to Japan, Sergiy Korsunsky, apologized on social media, stating, "This should not be happening."
