Trump administration to end all federal contracts with Harvard

SUMMARY

The Trump administration plans to ask federal agencies to end contracts with Harvard University. The General Services Administration (GSA) will send a letter to agencies requesting a list of contracts they can cancel or redirect by June 6. This move represents an escalation in the ongoing conflict between the administration and Harvard.

The letter encourages agencies to consider other vendors instead of Harvard for future services. John Gruenbaum from the GSA referred to these actions as a push for civil rights, accusing Harvard of ignoring a Supreme Court ruling on admissions and failing to address harassment of Jewish students.

Harvard has not yet commented on the situation.
