Judge grants Justice Department request to unseal Ghislaine Maxwell records

A federal judge has approved the Justice Department's request to publicly release investigative materials related to Ghislaine Maxwell's sex trafficking case. Judge Paul A. Engelmayer's ruling allows unsealing of grand jury transcripts and exhibits after a request from the department last November. This decision follows the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, aiming to enhance public access to Epstein-related records.

The Justice Department intends to release a substantial amount of material gathered during their investigations, including financial records and survivor interviews. Records could be made public within 10 days.
