Turkey says Israel leading Middle East to 'total disaster'

In a scathing rebuke, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan launched a fierce verbal attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, comparing him to Adolf Hitler. Erdogan accused Netanyahu of adopting a path of destruction similar to that of the infamous Nazi dictator.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan criticized Israel for escalating tensions in the Middle East, claiming its actions against Iran could lead to "total disaster." Speaking at an Organization of Islamic Cooperation summit in Istanbul, he stated, “There is no Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, Yemeni or Iranian problem but there is clearly an Israeli problem.”

Fidan urged for an end to “unlimited aggression” against Iran and called for unity to prevent escalating violence. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan echoed these sentiments, condemning Western support for Israel and emphasizing the need for solidarity against Israeli actions across the region.
