Oman confirms US-Iran talks will take place in Geneva on Thursday

Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr Al Busaidi, has confirmed that US-Iran negotiations will occur in Geneva on Thursday, aimed at finalizing a deal amid rising tensions. Al Busaidi stated, “Pleased to confirm US-Iran negotiations are now set for Geneva this Thursday.”

Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, mentioned Tehran is ready to implement a "full monitoring mechanism" for its nuclear program. Araghchi emphasized that pursuing enrichment is "a matter of dignity and pride" for Iran. He expressed optimism about reaching a deal, despite US calls for “zero enrichment.” Observers remain cautious about the likelihood of an agreement, with some predicting Iranian proposals may fall short of US expectations.
