Blackouts in the US could double by 2030 amid AI power demand

It criticizes renewable energy, labeling it unreliable and part of a "radical green agenda." Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated, “If we are going to keep the lights on, win the AI race, and keep electricity prices from skyrocketing, the United States must unleash American energy.”

Meanwhile, efforts to promote renewables face setbacks, including a $3.4 trillion package phasing out tax credits for solar and wind energy.
