Trump administration orders several states to remove gender ideology from sex ed materials

The Trump Administration has mandated 46 states, to remove references to gender ideology from sex education materials within 60 days. This directive from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) targets federally-funded programs, such as the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP).

Noncompliance could result in losing over $81 million in federal funding. DHHS stated this action reflects its commitment to "protecting children from attempts to indoctrinate them with delusional ideology." The PREP program was initially launched to reduce teen pregnancy during the Obama Administration.
