Trump to address nation on Iran war Wednesday at 7pm

President Donald Trump announced that U.S. military forces are expected to leave Iran "in two or three weeks," stating, "We leave because there's no reason for us to do this." He will address the nation on the situation in Iran at 9 p.m. ET Wednesday.

Trump dismissed the need for a negotiated settlement, suggesting that declaring victory could end hostilities. He mentioned that Iran "doesn't have to make a deal" and indicated that the U.S. is heavily targeting Iranian missile facilities, saying, "We're hitting them very hard."

The conflict escalated with U.S. and Israeli attacks on February 28.
