Epstein's butler for 18 years speaks out to 'tell my truth'
Valdson Vieira Cotrin, Jeffrey Epstein’s butler for 18 years, insists the disgraced financier did not kill himself. In an exclusive Telegraph interview, Cotrin, who managed Epstein’s Paris home, said Epstein was optimistic about securing bail before his 2019 death. “I am like his brother [Mark Epstein]. I don’t believe this was suicide. He loved life too much,” Cotrin stated.
He also suspects foul play in the suicide of Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein victim who accused Prince Andrew of rape.Cotrin’s claims intensify calls for the release of Epstein’s files, which may name prominent figures like Bill Clinton, seen in a photo with Cotrin on Epstein’s private jet. Cotrin alleges Epstein was offered a role in Trump’s 2016 administration, which he declined, though no evidence supports this.
He described Ghislaine Maxwell as the “authoritarian boss” running Epstein’s household and recalled frequent visits from Prince Andrew, accompanied by taxpayer-funded bodyguards.
Cotrin denies witnessing Epstein’s abuse of underage girls, insisting young women only provided massages. Despite serving high-profile guests like Woody Allen and Bill Gates, Cotrin remains loyal to Epstein, expressing fear for his own safety amid lingering mysteries surrounding Epstein’s death.
