Hillary Clinton testifies as part of House investigation into Epstein

Hillary Clinton is testifying before U.S. House lawmakers at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center to testify to Congress behind closed doors about her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. This marks the beginning of two days of depositions, which will also involve former President Bill Clinton.

Hillary stated she had no knowledge of Epstein's or Ghislaine Maxwell's crimes, emphasizing, "I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr. Epstein."

The Clintons agreed to testify after their offers of sworn statements were rejected, and threats of criminal contempt charges were made. This is a historic occasion, as it is the first time a former president has been compelled to testify before Congress.
