Brad Arnold, lead singer of 3 Doors Down, has died at 47 after a battle with stage 4 kidney cancer. The band announced his passing on social media, stating he "passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, in his sleep."

Arnold revealed his diagnosis in May 2025, expressing fearlessness despite the prognosis. He urged fans to pray for him and shared their journey through music, particularly their hit "Kryptonite."

Arnold co-founded 3 Doors Down in 1996 and helped shape their sound, leading to multiple successful albums. His death follows the loss of original guitarist Matt Roberts in 2016.
