Pentagon confiscates badges of virtually all Defense reporters

Major media outlets, including Axios, CNN, and the Washington Post, also refused to sign the new pledge, which they believe could criminalize national security reporting.

In response, Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell defended the policy, stating it is essential for troop welfare and national security.
