Burnham arrives in Kyiv as he hands over secret missile plans

Andy Burnham, the UK Prime Minister, visited Kyiv to support Ukraine on its Independence Day. During his visit, he announced that the European defense firm MBDA can share UK missile technology, specifically for the long-range Scalp missile.

The Kremlin reacted strongly, warning that the UK is "participating in this war." Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Britain is exacerbating the conflict. However, Burnham insisted on continued UK support for Ukraine against Russian aggression, calling Moscow's threats "outrageous."

Ukraine celebrated its Independence Day with significant drone attacks on Russian targets, including online shopping hubs. Burnham's visit is part of ongoing efforts to reinforce ties between the UK and Ukraine amidst rising tensions with Russia.
