Hillary Clinton says Americans who engage in 'propaganda' need to be 'criminally charged'

Hillary Clinton stated that Americans who spread Russian disinformation should face civil and criminal charges. During an MSNBC appearance, she accused some congressional Republicans of "parroting Russian talking points." Clinton emphasized the need to hold not just Russians, but also Americans engaged in propaganda accountable.

She added, "I think it’s important to indict the Russians... But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda." Clinton urged the Justice Department to stop foreign adversaries from influencing American voters. Recently, the DOJ charged two Russian employees with election interference related to the 2024 election.
