'six-month high'
SUMMARY

China's rare earth magnet exports reached a six-month high in July, rising nearly 75% from June to 5,577 metric tons. This increase indicates a recovery in trade flows critical for electric vehicles, aligning with levels before Beijing's export restrictions.

In July, exports were also up 5.7% compared to last year. The recovery followed agreements with the U.S. and Europe to boost shipments and ease earlier export controls. Germany was the largest destination, importing 1,116 tons, while U.S. shipments increased by 75.5% to 619 tons.
