Israel army says destroyed 'one third' of Iran missile sites

Israel's military reported it has destroyed one-third of Iran's surface-to-surface missile launchers during ongoing strikes. Since operations began, "more than 120 missile launchers" have been destroyed, according to Brigadier General Effie Defrin.

Around 50 Israeli aircraft targeted missile storage sites overnight. Notably, over 20 missiles were destroyed as they were being prepared for launch in central Iran. Defrin stated Israel has achieved "total air superiority in the skies over Tehran."

In response, Iran launched missiles at Israeli cities, but Israeli strikes reduced the barrage to fewer than 50 missiles.
