North Korea reveals uranium enrichment facility; Kim urges more nuclear weapons

North Korea has revealed details about a secretive uranium-enrichment facility amid leader Kim Jong Un's push for an increase in nuclear weapons.

The announcement marks the first time since 2010 that such a facility has been disclosed. During a recent visit, Kim expressed "great satisfaction" with North Korea’s nuclear capabilities. He emphasized the need to augment the number of centrifuges to boost production for self-defense. South Korea condemned this pursuit, calling it a serious threat to international peace. Recent satellite imagery indicates ongoing expansions at the Yongbyon complex.
