Amazon cargo plane overshoots runway at Miami airport - striking multiple vehicles

An Amazon cargo plane overshot the runway at Miami International Airport, striking vehicles and resulting in "multiple patients" at the scene. The incident occurred around 2 PM after the aircraft arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Sixty firefighters responded to tackle a blaze caused by the incident, leading to the closure of all runways and taxiways at the airport.

Amazon confirmed it was an operation by 21 Air, stating they are working closely with local authorities.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced a full ground stop at the airport, causing significant flight delays and cancellations. The National Transportation Safety Board is also investigating the incident.
