Kevin McCarthy predicts GOP will lose House majority

Kevin McCarthy warned Republicans will likely lose the House in two weeks, citing century-long midterm trends that penalize the president’s party. He blamed GOP leaders for poor management and a sparse legislative calendar that was repeatedly cut by canceled session days and member revolts.

"Republicans are going to lose it." McCarthy said Republicans failed to present a clear agenda to voters. He added Democrats may still face governing problems if they win.
