Druzhba oil pipeline flow to be restored by end-April

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated that the damaged Druzhba pipeline, which transports Russian oil to Eastern Europe, will be operational by the end of April.

In an interview, he emphasized, "It will be ready to operate by the end of April."

Although the specific timing of the interview was unclear, Zelenskiy previously mentioned April as the target for resuming operations.

Naftogaz, Ukraine's state energy company, has not commented on the pipeline's status.

Hungarian election winner Peter Magyar urged for the pipeline's immediate reopening once it's operational.

Since late January, Hungary and Slovakia have been without Russian oil due to damage from a drone strike.
