China has developed a new electronic warfare (EW) system featuring two drones that work together to disrupt enemy communication while protecting friendly signals. This innovative technology creates a “null zone,” or “the eye,” allowing ally communication to remain stable amidst aggressive electronic warfare.
Each drone's functions are precise: one acts as a jammer, while the other emits a counter signal. During simulations, this system effectively canceled out interference.
Senior researcher Yang Jian reported, “Under the simulation condition of a 20 dB interference-to-signal ratio, electromagnetic interference at the target legitimate user can be reduced to zero.”
